Cache Carnival

Well, my suspicions have been confirmed - kind of. A Cache Carnival begins March 25, 2019, and ends on April 14, 2019 (ending one week before I predicted). During this time period, 500 points need to be scored on the Leaderboard (formerly the Friend League), in order to earn five souvenirs inspired by historic Carnival locations. You can also earn a sixth souvenir by attending a registered "Creation Celebration."

In order to qualify as a "Creation Celebration," certain guidelines have to be met, as well as the usual event guidelines. I can't wait to attend a Creation Celebration, it sounds like loads of fun.

Edit 02/22/19: The FAQs page has been updated with the souvenirs and Leaderboard scoring. Each city in the "Coming Soon..." post will have it's own souvenir and associated point value to receive that souvenir as outlined in the snip pictured below:

Scoring points is based heavily on the favorite points that have been awarded to caches that you find, as can be seen in the following snip:
