Year of the Hide

Earlier this year, Geocaching announced that this is the Year of the Hide. They've provided great advice on their blog about maintaining old caches and placing new ones. Well, a new announcement has proclaimed that if you get a new geocache published between March 1 and December 31 of this year, you'll earn a souvenir! You'll earn the souvenir for geocaches and events, but not for Adventure Locations.
This is giving me some incentive to break out the ideas that I've come up with for mystery caches and to get cracking on the items I've collected to make cache containers from. I'm disappointed that my Adventure Lab credits won't count, but I can always work a bonus cache in!
