Are You Ready to Beat the Record?

Image
Geocaching wants to beat their previous world record of the most explorers out caching in one day! In order to make that happen, and earn a souvenir in the process (if we can accomplish this monumental feat), they've chosen August 20, 2022 (that's right, International Geocaching Day and the date of the Geocaching 20 th Anniversary Celebration Event) to be the target date. The previous world record for most cachers exploring in one day was on August 11, 2013, with 126,833 geocachers logging finds or attending events, and surely we can beat it. In order to help accomplish this goal, log a "Found It" on a cache, complete an Adventure location or post an "Attended" on an event on August 20, 2022. Don't forget - put it on your calendar if it helps - and help prove how the Geocaching community can come together and achieve something truly phenominal! Read more about it on their blog post .

Jack Link's Sasquatch Tag

Image
Earlier this week, I received this trackable in the mail. I'll be releasing it soon at a nearby cache with the goal of visiting Bigfoot/Sasquatch hot spots or caches that honor this elusive creature. I hope it travels far and wide, and is maybe photographed with Bigfoot! JLG47R Don't forget, if you find this or any of the other Jack Link's Sasquatch tags, upload photos to your social media using #jacklinksquest and #sweepstakes or tagging @jacklinksjerky.
